Martin Eichinger is a sculptor based in Portland, Oregon, with a 40-year long career in bronze sculpture. His professional career was launched with the installation of the Windlord; a public art to commemorate the bicentennial in Lansing, Michigan. He is most known for his figurative sculpture that reflects narrative storytelling and romantic themes and is an elected fellow of the National Sculpture Society. Now, later in his career, Eichinger has made the transition to working with epoxy resin. While abstract elements have carried throughout his work, it is more explicit in his newest collection and experimentation with this medium. His compositions are connected to scientific and galactic imagery, which closely aligns with his current interests in evolving science and technology.
